Project 2 / Shooting Practise & Editing

During preparation, Mr. Martin guided us on the proper use of recording, lighting, and other filming equipment, helping us get technically ready for the shoot. After filming, we reviewed and selected the best footage, organizing everything into folders that included audio files, video clips, a shot list, shooting schedule, and storyboards.

Behind-the-scenes footage

REFLECTIONS

Experience:
In this project, I participated in the entire production process, from pre-production to post-production, including filming, recording, and editing. I was responsible for specific filming tasks, following the storyboard and shooting schedule. Mr. Martin also taught us how to use audio and lighting equipment, which improved my technical skills. During editing, I practiced color correction and grading using Premiere Pro.

Observations:
I found that the better the preparation in the early stage, the smoother the editing process. Teamwork was also very important, helping us efficiently complete high-quality filming and recording. Additionally, I realized that color grading has a big impact on the mood and professionalism of a video.

Findings:
This project made me realize that production is not just about technical skills—it also requires good planning and communication. Precise editing and proper color handling are key to telling a good story. These skills will be very useful for my future video projects.
