1.Lecture
week4: This course explores the concept of harmonious design, emphasizing diversity to avoid monotony, and discusses how repetition of colors, shapes, and materials creates a sense of balance and wholeness. At the same time, the application of mesoscale and scale in design is analyzed, including scale models and architectural drawings.
Week 5: This course explores the use of words, images and symbols in design. There are two main types of symbols: figurative symbols (graphic or image symbols) and abstract symbols (acquired through learning and not relying on association). The combination of text and image is crucial because typography not only builds visual hierarchy and balance, but also enhances message depth and resonance. The use of symbols and their cultural expression are illustrated through specific examples such as brand logos and cultural elements, emphasizing the importance of geometry, color use and message clarity in effective visual communication.

Visual Analysis
1.Observation
The meteor falling from the sky is about to fall to the ground, and the child in the picture reaches out his hands to embrace it.
2.Analysis
1. The strong contrast between black and white in the picture makes the picture more impactful.
2. Meteors take up most of the picture. The emphasis is clearly on meteors.
3. Meteors fall with the feeling of movement.

4.Feedback
Week 4
Specific feedback:I was not familiar with the application of the principle so I relearned it.
General feedback:I chose the picture again.
Week 5
Specific feedback:The task assigned by the teacher was not understood and rewritten.
General feedback:The draft was repainted.
5.Reflection
Experience:At the beginning, I did not listen carefully to the teacher's explanation to the students and did not understand the content of my homework, and then after listening carefully, the homework can be completed.
Observation:Apply what you've learned to your work by drawing drafts in a way that uses design principles.
Findings:After correcting the homework, I have mastered a lot of what I have learned. It is very important for me to listen carefully to the teacher's explanation of other students' homework.
